I tried using it for a bit , but I could not figure out what I was supposed to do . It felt more confusing than it needed to be ...

I went into this hoping it would help me get more done, but it just slowed everything down. Tasks that should’ve been quick ended up taking longer, and after trying to make it work I’m frustrated. At this point, I’d want someone from support to look into it or offer a real fix, because it didn’t improve my productivity at all

I tried using it on my phone while sitting in my car waiting for coffee, and it was frustrating. The buttons take forever to respond, and a couple of pages just froze on me completely. I kept tapping thinking maybe my screen was dirty or something, but nope, it was just laggy. It’s probably fine on desktop, but on mobile it feels like a mess.

I ran into an issue with my start.me account and reached out to support, thinking it would be a basic thing to sort out. But after waiting several days, I still didn’t get any real response, which made it feel like my message was just being ignored.

For something I’m paying for, that’s really frustrating. The tool itself is fine when everything works, but the moment you need help with even a simple request, you’re basically left hanging. Not a great experience.

I gave Start Me a shot mainly because of the browser extension, but it ended up being more frustrating than useful for me. My page wouldn’t load right half the time, the shortcuts felt weirdly slow, and every now and then it would open the wrong thing or just do nothing at all.
Maybe the actual website is decent, and it’s not even about that. I just wanted a smooth new tab setup that worked without me having to mess with it constantly. After a few days of dealing with little glitches, I uninstalled it.

I gave Start Me a try for a little while because I liked the idea of having everything in one place, but the overall look just didn’t really work for me. The design feels kind of old and a bit messy, like it hasn’t been refreshed in a long time. The colors, icons, and general layout don’t feel very modern, and even when I didn’t have that much added to the page, it still somehow looked cluttered and busy. Functionally, it does what it’s supposed to do, so I wouldn’t say it’s unusable or anything, but since it’s something I’d be looking at every day, the visuals matter more than I expected. I was hoping for something cleaner, simpler, and a little more polished

I can't say the homepage isn't helpful, because it does have some useful stuff on it. It’s just a bit cluttered, so finding what I need isn’t always as easy as it could be.

I gave Start Me a try because I wanted a dashboard I could really make my own, but it ended up feeling more limited than I expected. You can move things around a bit, sure, but when I tried to make bigger changes, it just wasn’t there.
What made it more frustrating was the waiting around while trying to adjust things and figure out options that still didn’t give me the control I wanted. It felt boxed in, like I was only allowed to tweak the easy stuff, and for me that was pretty much a deal breaker...

I wanted to like it, but the price just feels a bit too high for what you actually get. Compared to a few similar products I’ve tried, this one didn’t really stand out enough to justify the extra cost for me.

I mainly wanted to use start.me for RSS feeds, but it’s been hit or miss. Some feeds load really slowly, and others just don’t seem to update when they should. A few sources even stopped showing new posts completely, and I had to refresh or re-add them, which was a pain. That part was weird. The idea is nice, but for something I’d use every day to read feeds, it just doesn’t feel reliable enough.

I really wanted to like this, but it’s been way too frustrating for daily use. It freezes a lot, and sometimes tabs just won’t load properly or act weird for no clear reason. I reached out to support, but it felt like I got stuck in a loop of the same basic suggestions without anything actually getting fixed. At this point it just feels unstable and annoying to use regularly

I spent some time trying to set up my page, and the widget options felt limited. I kept looking for things I assumed would be there, but either they weren’t available or they looked kind of dated. Maybe I’m picky because I’ve used a few dashboard tools before, and I was also doing this while drinking coffee that had gone cold, so maybe my patience was already low. Still, for something meant to be a dashboard tool, I expected a lot more flexibility and variety. It was disappointing.

I tried setting up start.me and got frustrated quickly. The weird part is, it seems like it could be useful once everything is in place, but the onboarding barely explained anything. I kept clicking around just to find basic features, and the whole first setup felt messier than it should’ve been. Maybe it gets better later, but I didn’t feel like sticking with it.

I’ve been trying to use the import and export features, it’s been messy. Things don’t feel clear or smooth, and to make it more annoying, the terms seem to keep changing, so I’m never totally sure what I’m agreeing to or what to expect. It just makes the whole experience more frustrating than it needs to be.

the search has been frustrating. it misses stuff i know is there, and it takes way too long to load sometimes.

I’ve been using Start Me for my everyday links, and I’ll admit I’m probably a bit biased because I really like the idea of having everything in one clean place. When it’s working, it makes my routine easier and saves me from digging through bookmarks.

That said, lately it’s been frustrating. Pages have been loading slowly or not opening at all, usually right when I’m trying to get something done quickly. I still want to like it, but the random hiccups make it hard to fully trust. Hopefully they sort out the reliability issues soon

I really liked the idea behind Start Me at first, like having everything in one place seemed super useful. But then I started poking around the privacy settings and... I don’t know, it just made me a bit uneasy. Some of the options weren’t totally clear to me, and I couldn’t really tell what data was being stored or possibly shared. Maybe it’s all fine, but the security side didn’t give me a ton of confidence. I just didn’t feel comfortable making it something I’d use every day

I tried using folders for my bookmarks, but they got confusing quickly. Maybe it’s just how I organize stuff, or maybe... I don’t know, it just didn’t really work for me.

I actually wanted to like start.me, but the loading speed was a dealbreaker for me. My dashboard took way too long to open, even on a normal internet connection. Sometimes the widgets would load one at a time, and it felt like the whole page was stuck. For something I’d use as a homepage, it really needs to be quick. After a while, I got tired of waiting and just stopped using it.

I like the app for the most part and it does what I need, but the bookmark syncing can be frustrating. Sometimes everything shows up fine between my phone and laptop, and other times a few bookmarks are missing or don’t update right away. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it definitely makes the experience feel a bit unreliable.
